In the past seven years, the Morty Frank Memorial Scholarship Fund has been able to financially assist more than 40 students graduating from Lynbrook High School. Year after year, we continue to look for young, aspiring adults who are furthering their education and are in financial need. So often we find them to possess some of the special qualities that Morty had. They are ambitious, athletic and bright. We are always touched by their stories, their interests, and their determination. In addition to these scholarships, we have chosen to support the Adolescent Skills Center, located in the Bronx. The ASC, helps emotionally challenged adolescents who have few, if any, job skills, by offering an array of vocational, educational, career planning and job placement services that empowers them for the world of work. We have also made contributions to the Tribeca Hebrew School. In three years the after-school program has grown to over 120 kids. Our gift has allowed them to improve and enlarge their programs and we are very excited about being a part of that. |

| Another non-profit organization we supported this year was the Tribute WTC Visitor Center. Until the WTC Memorial and Museum is built, visitors from around the world and family members can go to the Center to pay tribute to the lives lost on 9/11. Through walking tours, exhibits and programs, the Tribute Center offers a deeper understanding of the events of September 11th. The Center is dependent upon contributions and memberships to remain open to the public and with the ongoing growth of Morty's Scholarship Fund, we feel we can continue to support it. |
